To choose a belt length, measure what's comfortable round your waist while sitting or standing. Or measure an existing belt. If you order this length, it will be the length from the buckle to the centre hole (not buckle-to-tip). There's no need to compare with other size systems.
These buckles came to us on the ends of another company's belts. We got the odd lengths that nobody wanted to buy. They're probably made for Tandy in Taiwan, out of some cheap light metal with plating and varnish over the top.
