In the UK we can probably send heavier parcels for the same price by courier.
This is a starting point for quoting prices from our stock of two rolls of microfibre, 1.44m wide and several meters long. We can deliver the entire stock or parts of it at courier costs. It weights about 1kg per square meter, or ten square feet and Parcelforce via comparison sites is usually cheapest for heavy rolls this length.
There are much smaller stocks of bright red and white material, and another company had surplus stocks of silver; we could contact them or give you their details. A London importer has several colours of microfibre available by the meter and we could pass-on your details.
This is listed next to belts and belt straps, but too floppy and quick to stretch round the holes for most peoples' taste if used for a belt; it's usually used for shoes. For bags and wallets, a cheaper fabric or 1.5mm microfibre is usual but this 2mm would work for bags and we can cut into small satchel shapes with press knives or other shapes by hand or possibly CNC cutters in future.
We can rent time on a belt-length hydraulic press from a firm that have knives to make belt straps that way, if you want quantity and consistency, and we have an A4 size press here. It just needs a knife made into a pasty-cutter shape so that any shape smaller than A4 can be cut-out..
Knives cost £20 - £100+ to get made. We can suggest suppliers. We have knives for one kind of boot, which takes a lot of knives because of the sizes, and a medium-width belt knife with an adjustable length.
There's another 3mm thick material for belt straps which we keep in much smaller quantities of about 0-1.5 meters at a time, 1.44m wide, and costs us about £1 a cm.
We have a lot of off-cuts of 3mm belt strap material in belt widths but shorter lengths, suitable for key fobs or wrist cuffs or sometimes long enough to make dog collars. Let us know if you're looking for something like this and we'll give you a quote, either for the rectangle of material or possibly for it made-up into a cuff or a collar. Prices would be lower than for belts.
We can make-up products but don't have any experience in sewing (although there is a machine here); most of our belts have a compression rivet to hold them together or sometimes a screw rivet.
