Comfortable because it can be worn loose and doesn't not have to be laced all the way to the top; people who get used to ankle boots often don't want to go back to wearing shoes every day because shoes have to fit more tightly.
The 200 joule steel toe cap isn't laboratory tested in this style of shoe because of the cost of testing, but it is a lot better than nothing if something falls on your foot. The soles are also oil fat and alkali resistant.
Over time, the camouflage layer of canvas frays at the crease lines while the non-woven backer remains underneath. It comes to look similar in style to the Grenson Kelly boot. Other than that, the boots last for years, making them an environmentally friendly choice and the Solovair soles get better over time as the footbed moulds to the shape of your feet.
