Description of vegan shoe boot or belt

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) approved

PETA approved Vegan boot with a tall 10 lace top, steel toe cap and commando sole glued-on. The toe cap has been tested to a recent standard of impact resistance, although not on this style of boot because of the costs of testing so it has a lot of impact resistance but no number to say how much.

If you want to use this boot every day, try adding an insole for comfort as they have a solid rubber sole and no mid-sole.

The microfibre is 2mm thick and the sole thicker; these should last for years making them an environmentally-friendly choice even though they go to landfill eventually.

Made in Portugal.

Washing Don't soak as the footbed swells. Otherwise, hand washing with soap is fine.

Wear-out Durable. The shine rubs-off the upper material in places but is easy to blacken. Then after miles or years, the sole wears thin enough to crack and is expensive to replace.
Compostable no - but some Veganline.com shoes last a long time
polishing spray wipe or scrub with oil furniture polish, wax or shoe polish to increase water resistance but reduce breathability
Pack Corrugated cardboard is recycled. Probably wrapped in second-use Amazon paper or Veg delivery paper so returned boxes can be re-used.
