Comfylux slippers have different degrees of foaming in different parts of the rubber sole, so there it gives a little under-foot as you walk, but the outer part of the rubber is still hard enough to use indoors.
The heel support is part of the same rubber, and pops-up however many times you step on it, making this a safe brand of slipper to wear as well as a comfortable one.
Made in Alicante, Spain, a democratic welfare state, after years of production at Union Mill, Backup, Lancs. The problem with UK production was getting cheap bulk rubber.
